This game was a finalist at the 2nd Annual Games for Learning Design Competition. It's an RPG styled game with a battle system that requires drawing certain shapes to inflict damage, recover health, and erect barriers.
As one of my earliest attempts at an educational game, Shapes of Wrath features much of the good and bad of most eduactional games. On the positive side, it was designed as a game first and educational tool second culminating in mechanics that utilize actual math concepts. However, it also featured a slow narrative with lots of explicit math instruction.
